About me
Erik is a 4th generation San Francisco area coastal native and a single father of three. He has 31 years of experience working in the elevator industry. In 1994 he founded what has become a multi-million dollar elevator company which still operates in the SF bay area today. He has committed his life to ensuring safety and quality standards of practice in a technology utilized industry.
Throughout his career he has given his time to support the industry and developed into a reliable businessman, respected peer and trusted leader. His accomplishments include serving as the president of the NCEIG (Northern California Elevator Industry Group) for 3 years and as a board member for the NAEC (National Association of Elevator Contractors) for 9 years, 6 years on the CET (Certified Elevator Technichian) Board of Certification, including 1 year as chairman, and 3 years as a director on the BOD. Additionally he served as a content writer for the current CSLB (California State Licensing Board) elevator contractors licensing test. He has proven to be an effective educator and developer of apprenticeship and certification standards.
In his personal life Erik has expanded on his leadership and management skills working with volunteer teams on community projects, parenting his 3 children into adulthood and coaching girls soccer. In 2010 he attended Burning Man and has since been using his talents in leadership and the industrial arts to create his own projects as well as enable others in creating theirs and for the last 5 years he has operated as transportation and logistics lead for SF regional Burningman events.
Living in the Bay Area, the start up capital of the world, immersed in the diverse environment of creative, innovative artists and inventors and makers he realized that many creative and dynamic minds lack all of the capacities needed to fulfill their visions. Knowing the hardships and trials of founding and funding a fledgling business himself, he has taken the opportunity to found a business development agency to strategize these ingenious concepts to fruition.
