About me

David Alan Foster is a multifarious designer, product developer and marketing strategist who works with creatives to navigate around the many potholes on the road to their success.

David has broad and deep experience in an array of design and writing disciplines in many industries, and applies that experience to strategic marketing and brand identity, and for consistent content — both physical and digital.

He created and published Invent! Magazine, bootstrapped to 20,000 circulation and best-in-class in four years; and has founded startups, nonprofits, social profits and many innovative projects.

He's counseled hundreds of inventors through their product design and development process, creating and applying resources, strategies, processes, materials and presentations.

David enjoys nature via hiking, biking, and kayaking. He lives in Palo Alto with his wife Bonnie and cats Jazze and Bijou, and is working on a book of haiku based on the I Ching.
